THEME: Don't Quit Your Day Job

What compels someone to leave a cushy, corporate job for the high risk world of startups? The appeal is easy to see. But with such a high rate of failure, how do you know if it's worth it? Is there ever a right time? Once you've made the leap, what resources can help keep you afloat? What about Cofounders? Accelerators? Fundraising? The list goes on.To help answer these questions, we've lined up a very special, two-part main event, drinks included! Here's what's going down:

• 6:30-7:00PM: Mix and mingle (PART I)

• 7:00-8:00PM: Day Job Screening
To lay the foundation we'll start with a screening of Day Job, a documentary that follows three Canadian entrepreneurs through the ups and downs of starting a company. It explores the personal journey of launching a business and the affect it has on the entrepreneur, their team as well as their family and friends.
