This month's speakers:

Julie Whish Julie (or Jules!) is a Culture Specialist by day and Happiness Enthusiast by night. She believes life is so much better when there’s something to celebrate! As Uberflip’s Culture Specialist AKA Happiness Officer, she spends her days planning events, parties and initiatives to keep the team happy, excited and engaged (and yes this means a fully stocked candy jar at her desk!) When she’s not sprinkling confetti and good vibes on her colleagues, she’s trying to spread them anywhere else she can. Jules has a lifestyle blog called “Hey Jules” where she shares her happiness hacks, love of Toronto and pretty things. After planning her own wedding two years ago, she fell in love with creating such a magical day, and decided to share that love with others and in tune made wedding planning her side hustle. No matter what the task or event, Jules always has kindness, positivity and happiness top of mind.

Brandi LeifsoBrandi is the CEO and founder of Evio Beauty Group. When Brandi was 21, she was living in a women's shelter. Because sometimes the most beautiful things come from the darkest times, Brandi founded the concept for Evelyn Iona while there. Evio is on a mission to break stigmas to fulfill the vision of a conscious future. Evelyn Iona is a line of green products that fill the gap of hard-to-findcolour cosmetics that are good for your skin, planet and your community. Evelyn Iona quickly made its mark in the indie green beauty space with its authentic, unapologetic approach to conscious beauty. This year, Brandi secured a spot in Sephora's 2018 accelerator program as the only Canadian company in the program. Brandi is the most passionate about social change and has donated thousands of dollars in funds and products, partnering with the Canadian Women's Foundation.

Lori SmithLori Smith is the community manager at OneEleven — one of the world's largest global scale up innovation centres for high growth technology startups. Her mission at OneEleven is to build a thriving community that helps founders and their businesses scale from Seed to Series A. Previous to OneEleven, Lori was a SaaS/growth marketer for several tech companies, including EventMobi, where she worked on various marketing campaigns to 10x growth. Having studied Anthropology and Mass Media at McGill University, Lori has always taken a keen interest in technology and it's impact on human communities. Much of her career choices have been motivated by this underlying interest and in this Happy Mondays session, Lori will explain how this passion led her to where she is today!
