Join us in the Camden lounge on June 14th for our next edition of Pro-Tip Tuesday where we'll be exploring the legal side of startups with our very own member, Rosy Rumpal. As always, snacks and coffee are included.

Rosy will be covering the basics of what you should be thinking about from a legal perspective for your startup. She'll be touching on things like: how to setup your business, and whether incorporating is right for you, naming your company (getting it right the first time around), IP protection, trademarks and design patents, agreements between Cofounders (splitting equity, sharing responsibilities etc.), as well as contracts with employees - full and part-time, as well as how to properly work with contractors. If there's time we'll also leave the floor open for whatever other legal questions you might have!

Rosy is a lawyer and tech enthusiast with a unique legal background.  As an entrepreneur involved in her own startup, she knows all of the struggles a startup experiences.  Her law practice, The Lean Lawyer, is dedicated to providing all types of affordable legal services to startups and small businesses in the Toronto and Waterloo region.

Hosted by Neil Martin (Cofounder, Project Spaces)
