We Take the Cliché Out of "Good Vibes Only." Here's How.

Project Spaces

Here at Project Spaces, we’re dealing with a bit of an internal conundrum. Call it a spiritual conflict, if you will. Why, you ask?

Because, on one hand, the term “good vibes only” kind of makes us cringe.

But, on the other hand, we know for a fact that people initially come to Project Spaces to get work done, but end up staying for a long time because of the… *ahem*... good vibes.

So, we’ve been doing some soul searching on this front.

And, almost as much for our own benefit as for yours, we thought it was worth sharing exactly what makes Project Spaces so unique in this department...

1. Incredible staff

We literally call our on-site staff *The Keepers of the Vibe* because the vast majority of their time is spent chatting with people and focusing on making everyone’s days the best day ever.

That’s no joke. It’s in the job description.

And it’s a responsibility they all take to heart.

2. Open space and lots of light

Nothing creates a *good vibe* at work like having room to think and a little bit of Vitamin D to help supercharge your mood.

And Project Spaces is brimming with both. We intentionally steered clear of private office suites so that we could keep our spaces open and airy with tons of natural light to go around. It seems to keep the plants happy too...

3. New friends

Project Spaces is a place for people to do great work, there’s no doubt about that. But it’s also so much more than that. It’s a chance for people to meet other great people, many of whom end up becoming real-life friends.

As a matter of fact, our motto is, “Stop Networking, Start Making Friends.”

So you should know friendship is serious business around here.

Our community of tight-knit professionals, and all of the events we host to get people together, help create a *good vibe* that’s bigger and more impactful than your everyday workspace.

4. Vibey tunes

Music is a big part of the DNA of Project Spaces. It feels like such a key part of our workday and it really helps us get inspired, fired up, and dialled in.

It also helps us keep that fun, *coffee-shop style vibe* that you can feel from the second you get in the door.

Don’t just take our word for it. We compiled The Sounds of the Space--nine workday playlists we like to play at PS--so that you can *feel the vibe* for yourself.

5. Our “why”

Here’s the hard truth: entrepreneurship is super rewarding, but it can also be boring and hard, filled with struggles and ups and downs.

And it’s never going to be *good vibes only* when you’re going through those trying times on your own.

That’s why our “why”--our three core values--are hard work, authenticity, and playfulness. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and we love to have fun.

There’s no doubt we all work hard together, but our mission at Project Spaces is to create a little levity in the hustle and to help you enjoy the process.

And there you have it. That’s how we take the cliche out of *good vibes only* and help create an incredible environment and community where like-minded professionals can work hard and share in better and more enjoyable workdays.

And if you want to come down and *feel the vibe*, then we invite you to stop by, drop in, and come join us at Project Spaces. We’re a community of supportive, like-minded, Toronto-based professionals and we’d love to have you as part of our tribe.

Thank you 🙌
