Five Toronto Fall Activities To Partake In This Season

Project Spaces

Fall is officially in full swing, and you know what that means - sweater weather, picturesque fall foliage, and plenty of seasonal festivities for Torontonians to enjoy! This time of year is widely considered a favourite among Canadians, and it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors before those cold fronts come in. If you don’t take advantage of this stellar season, you’re missing out! Here are the five fall activities you need to check out in the GTA!

1. Downey’s Farm Corn Maze

This epic 10 km corn maze is well worth the trip to Inglewood, Ontario, especially because the entrance fee is a measly $9.73 per person. Located at 13682 Heart Lake Rd, this maze is filled with plenty of twists and turns, and it is open daily until October 31st. Did we mention that it’s Batman-themed this year? That means you can never give up – no matter how lost you get!

2. Wanda’s Pie In The Sky

Can you even enjoy fall without indulging in delicious seasonal desserts? We don’t think so. Thankfully, Wanda’s Pie in the Sky is coming through with homemade apple and pumpkin pies that are to die for! This bright corner shop is conveniently located in Kensington Market, and if there’s one thing Torontonians can agree on, it’s that this spot has some of the best cakes and pies in the city.

3. Pumpkins After Dark

This one-of-a-kind outdoor event will be going on every Thursday and Sunday night until November 3rrd. It takes place in the picturesque town of Milton at 8560 Tremaine Rd and features a wonderland of over 5,000 jack-o-lanterns and pumpkin sculptures. For just $20 per adult, you get to see pumpkins in a whole new light at night!

4. Apples of Glasgow

Apple picking is a quintessential fall activity that’ll get you into the spirit of the season, and there’s no better place to pick your own than Apples of Glasgow. This small, family-run orchard is located at 2249 2nd Concession Whitchurch-Stouffville, which is about an hour outside of Toronto. There’s no entrance fee for this apple picking expedition, and all you need to do to get in is purchase a 10-pound bag of delicious apples for $20. It sounds like a pretty fair trade!

5. PSYCHO (A Project Spaces Halloween)

Ring in Halloween the right way and join us on Saturday, October 26th, as Project Space’s Camden Street location transforms into the world-famous Bates Motel! Tickets are $20 before October 20th, and you definitely don’t want to miss out on the mounds of candy, horrifying decor, and spooktacular tunes. There will also be prizes awarded for the best costumes!
